• What is Blabbr?

  • It's simple… Use Blabbr to rant and rave about anything.

    Have a person that you really like, or a song that you really hate? Score it with Blabbr.

    The more people you tell about it, the more fun it will be, so tell your friends.

    Oh ya, you can even Blabb something or someone through SMS. Send it to 25222 (that's BLABB (and yes we made that word up to fit the numbers)). Learn more about SMS here.

• What are your Opt-In Guidelines for SMS?

  • By accepting the Terms of Service agreement you give your consent to send and receive information via Short Message Services with Blabbr.com and all of its affiliates.

    Although Blabbr.com does not charge for its service, your carrier's standard messaging rates apply to your entry or submission message, our confirmation and all subsequent SMS correspondence. All charges are billed by and payable to your mobile service provider.

    We will not be liable for any delays in the receipt of any SMS messages as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator. SMS message services are provided on an AS IS basis.

    Data obtained from you in connection with this SMS service may include your cell phone number, your carrier's name, and the date, time and content of your messages. We may use this information to contact you and to provide the services you request from us.

    If you are a member of Blabbr.com, you can unsubscribe at any time by texting 'STOP' to 25222. By subscribing, you consent to receiving, from time to time, further text messages from us which may include offers from us, our affiliates and partners.

    The text service is currently available on these carriers: Cingular/AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Nextel, Boost, Alltel, Dobson, & Suncom.

• How much does it cost?

  • Blabbr is completely free, well from us at least! Your phone carrier may charge you for each text message you send if you are using our sms service. We suggest getting a text message plan because the site is pretty darn addicting. Most carriers offer packages for bulk or unlimited messaging, but check with them.

• What if I'm not in the USA?

  • Anyone can join Blabbr.com. If you wish to use your mobile, we currently only have Text Numbers in the US. We may add more numbers in other countries, so let us know where you are.

• Tell me more about the short code, 25222.

  • 25222 is like spelling "BLABB" on your phone. Think of it as a way to send a message to our system. Instead of texting a phone number, you text to a short code "25222". Short Codes are only for text messages, you can't call or email a short code.

• Is there a catch?

  • Nope. Blabbr.com may add optional services in the future that could be pay-per-use or subscription, but Blabbr will always be free. We also provide branding and sponsorship opportunities to select partners, but we'll never share your personal information with them… promise.

• I lost my password.

  • Don't fear, as long as you remember what email or mobile # you used to sign up, you can retrieve your password here.

• Do you have an API available?

  • We do have an API, we just haven't had written the documentation yet. If you really want it, Contact Us and let us know you think it's important and we'll see if we can do something for you.

• How do I upload a picture?

  • You can upload a picture by clicking on Dashboard>Settings and then selecting 'Change Photo'.

Privacy

• How do I delete my account?

  • We're really sad to see you go… If you'd really like to delete your account, you can do any of the following:

    1. Send us a message through our Contact Page
    2. If you have verified your mobile number, you can send a text to 25222 with the words 'Delete All' or 'Remove Account' and we will remove your account completely.

    Please note, once your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to use Blabbr.com and you will lose all of your past scores, comments, and tracks.

• Is your site secure?

  • Yup! The people who done built this site is real smart.

• Is my profile public?

  • You can select your privacy settings in your 'Settings' page (Dashboard>Settings). Your username, widget, and comments may be public depending on your settings. Your personal information is not seen by anyone else unless you allow it. Anything set to private on your 'Settings' page will never be shared with anyone.

• What if I don't want to use my phone?

  • No prob. You can create a Widget, add our FaceBook app or simply post through Blabbr.com. The more people you tell about it, the more fun it will be, so tell your friends.

• What do you do with my phone number?

  • We keep it locked away in a safe place where no one will ever get it. We just use it to identify and connect you to your friends, and in accordance with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. That's it. We will never ever give your mobile number to anyone else.

Mobile/SMS/Text Messenging

• Can I block other users?

  • Yes, if you have your phone activated, you can block specific users by texting BLOCK username to 25222. This will stop all messages from that user. You can always unblock them later by texting UNBLOCK username.

• Mobile/Text Messaging isn't working. What should I do?
  • 1. Does your phone/carrier support SMS (TXT) Messaging? * Check with your carrier and phone manufacturer… If you know you can receive txt messages, read on.
    2. Did you enter the phone number in the proper format? * Currently, our system only works with phones in the US. You should enter your 10 digit # on the Settings page (Dashboard>Settings)
    3. Did you verify your phone? * There is a link that says <verify>next to where you enter your mobile number on your 'Settings' page (click on 'Dashboard>Settings)

• Why don't I get email or mobile alerts?

  • Have you verified your email account or phone yet? You can't receive alerts until you verify your email address and/or mobile #. Go to your accounts page and click on next to your email address or mobile #.

Marketing and Advertising on Blabbr

• We would like to advertise on Blabbr.

  • You may not see advertising on our site right now, but there are some opportunities that will start to present themselves in the future. If you have a product or service that you think fits our site, or if you are interested in sponsoring our text messages, Contact Us

• One of the pages on your site is about me or my product.

  • We call these orphan pages and you can adopt them! Many products and people get Blabb'd on our site… this could be anything from a band to a brand. If you own, work for, or are one about one of the pages on our site, let us know… we'll help you adopt your page and your information after we verify your identity. Contact Us
